Horizon or Monumental: which ePaper (e-ink) frame size to choose?
The same image, two presences. Both frames carry the same 42-inch ePaper (e-ink) canvas at the same resolution. The Horizon, 90 × 70 cm with a 3 cm mat, reads like a framed print. The Monumental, 120 × 100 cm with a 15 cm white mat, holds a wall on its own.

Which one where
The wall decides.
The Horizon
For a corridor, a room, a lift, a menu by a door, a series along a wall: wherever people look from close by, and the frame should read like one print among others.
The Monumental
For a lobby, a reception, a large wall or a double-height hall: wherever people look from a distance, and a single piece has to hold the space. Its wide mat gives it the presence of a gallery work.

What we are asked.
Is the image bigger on the Monumental?
No. Both carry the same 42-inch ePaper canvas at the same resolution. The Monumental gains presence through its larger frame and its 15 cm white mat, not through the image.
Portrait or landscape?
Both, on either model, and you can switch whenever you like. The canvas, the resolution and the content library are identical either way.
How is it hung?
With no cable and no chasing: a traditional hook, a VESA 200 by 200 bracket, a steel cable, a floor easel or a matching shelf. The Horizon weighs 12 kg and the Monumental 18 kg: choose a fixing suited to the wall.
Can both formats be mixed in one venue?
Yes. They share the same canvas, so the same content plays on both, and they are managed together from Ginko Studio.
Are there other formats?
There are two formats, the Horizon and the Monumental, with the same ePaper canvas. Bespoke framing then changes the wood, the tint, the profile and the mat.
How large can an e-ink display be?
Most professional e-ink displays measure between 13 and 32 inches; larger panels exist, in black and white as in colour. Both Ginko frames carry a 42-inch panel, 106.7 cm across the diagonal.
What image resolution should we plan for?
2160 × 2880 pixels, in a 3:4 ratio, displayed in sixteen grey levels. The same file works on the Horizon and on the Monumental, in portrait or landscape.
